The beach was nice. There are several of them though.... The taxis are very expensive and you won't really spend less than $6 per person to get one way. Definitely check out the jewelry shops even if you aren't buying. They have 3 shops and will give you a free charm bracelet with charms but you have to visit all 3 to collect the charms. Its a great little keepsake and it's gorgeous!

St Thomas was a bit disappointing. As a veteran of the United States Navy, and being Memorial Day Weekend, the first thing I noticed was the lack of American Flags in this US territory. The city of St. Thomas is filthy. They need to spiff up the place if they want to continue to be a tourist town. If you want a nice location, you will have to take an excursion away from the city of St. Thomas.

Awesome!! Seemed very safe and easy to walk around. Our ship docked at the Crown Bay side of bay not Havensight, which I think has more shopping and some attractions I had researched. We did the RC FastCat catamaran snorkel and beach excursion. Had a GREAT time!!! Perfect weather, great crew, saw turtles & fish snorkeling, and the beach part was great too. Lots of rum punch for the beach part :-)

It rained all day and our excursion was canceled. Did do some shopping which there is a lot of shops there

Booked excursion to Sapphire Beach. Beach view was beautiful but too rocky and water was so rough you couldn’t swim with all the rocks and broken shells without getting knocked down and drug across the bottom. Best part of excursion was the island views during the ride to and from the beach.

We did a quick walk around town and did some shopping. St. Thomas is clean and well set up for stores near the pier area.
