Did not care for this port at all. We went on the turtle sail and snorkeling and it was not a good experience. Multiple boats (ours had 63 people) snorkeling in one area. There was a good 150-175 people trying to snorkel. Got hit in the head several times. The crew was very nice and friendly but too many boats in one area. I was very disappointed.

It has been a few years since we have been to St Thomas so we took a taxi in to town and walked around. We saw that due to the past hurricanes a number of shops have closed. but it was still nice.

We took a van to megens Bay. I LOVE this beach. So beautiful. It costs $5 pp children 12 and under are free to get in. But its maintained. And clean. The water was warm and wonderful. I will bring my kids back. It cost $26 for unbrella and two lounge chairs. Although we were in the water the whole time. We took a van that had 14 people in it and it cost $16 per person round trip. $8 one way. Alot of people where confused about this thought it was $8 round trip. But it wasnt some people stiffed the driver which was very sad.

We walked through a lot of shops on our way to the skyline ride. It was cheaper to walk than to book the excursion for this. It’s not far at all! Saw amazing views and got lots of awesome pictures. We ate at the restaurant at the top and had a few delicious drinks.

They were not ready for us. It was off our schedule and then they put it back on last minute. we think there was pressure to get tourists ashore for the local economy. Dock people were friendly. lots of taxi's. but lots of things were closed. Tram way up to Blue Beards Castle was still closed. The town had so many jewelry stores that were very pushy to try and get you in to buy. non stop. we got bored and went back to the ship. If you are going to get off at St. Thomas take an excursion and go over to St. Johns.
