Another beautiful place to visit. I had a great time on the Kon Tiki and made some new friends with a couple from New York.

We swam with the sea lions and it was a lot of fun. The trainers were great! We had a lot of interaction with the sea lions and got lots of pictures. Coral World had been hit hard by the hurricane and was still under some reconstruction, so there wasn't much to do once our sea lion swim was done.

we did the snorkeling excursion. We had so much fun! only downside was it went by way too fast. its only a 3 hour excursion so only 30 mins actually snorkeling and 1 hour at a private beach with open bar. the nice thing about it being a short excursion was that we could walk around the shops and not feel rushed to get back on the boat

Take taxi to Kiki Beach. Much less crowded than Megan Bay. Beautiful beach with food, drinks, snorkeling, long board rentals. Several people went to "famous" beach only to leave it and come to Kiki Beach.

St. Thomas was beautiful but expensive. We did not book an excursion and had decided to take a taxi to the nearest beach since it was supposed to have beautiful beaches and the area around the port was just full of souvenir shops. I didn't realize that the cost of a taxi was per person and not per car. A trip to the nearest beach, Emerald Beach, was $48 round trip for 4 people. We wanted to go to Magens Beach but it was $64 for the cab plus $20 admission for 4. Emerald Beach ended up being very pretty but kind of small and there weren't many people at all. It was like an alcove off of the ocean.

Go to Megan’s bay or do something on the water. Way too many jewelry stores.
