We had 3 families in our group we booked David's Fun Tours for a tour of the island. This tour was the highlight of our vacation for everyone in our group. Dave was amazing. Air conditioned bus for just our group of 12. He tailor the trip to whatever we wanted to do. No shopping to meals that we didn't want to do. He was so informative, pulling over multiple times to pick fruits and leaves and explain different foliage to our group which sounds like it would be boring for a group of teenagers but he was so much fun. He stayed with us while we enjoyed the better part of the day at Megan's Bay Beach. Had a cooler full of water for us. My daughter fed random roadside goats he had bananas for. We of course wanted to hit up a few touristy places for photos and souvenirs. That is where his professionalism really shined. We watched countless drivers struggle with parking and turning around one driver repeatedly hit a planter box trying to turn his van around....Not David. He literally took us everywhere we even went through the projects. Which was an eye opener. He is very proud of his island and it showed the entire trip. He made us all want to move there! I think if we didn't have a ship to catch we still may be riding around with David! We felt safe at all times and can't wait to go back again. Could not recommend him enough.

We did the Champagne Catamaran Cruise to St John’s. There were only 8 people on this excursion which made it so much more enjoyable. The crew, Dave, Esther and I can’t remember the other man, were AWESOME! We booked this excursion through Carnival which I normally do not do - this was very enjoyable. We saw 3 turtles, a stingray buried in the sand on the bottom and just enjoyed the beautiful water! They served champagne and a rum punch along with cheese and crackers. Highly recommend!

Love this stop!!! If you decide to take a taxi anywhere i seriously suggest Coki beach. It is soooo beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful. There is also great snorkeling as well.

You can still tell that this port has suffered from the hurricane as there were still pieces of building missing and there were shops being renovated/restored. We did an excursion and went snorkeling with some turtles and checked out a ship wreck. It was a lot of fun and they were very informative on their surroundings.

Love this port. We took an excursion that took us to Drakes seat, Magens Bay Beach, and the gondola ride. The excursion included all 3 places I was interested in so it was perfect. Magens Bay beach is my favorite beach in the world. I highly recommend you visit those three places but an excursion is not necessary. There are taxis available at the port, many shops. The gondola ride is across the street from the ship and gives a must see view of Charlotte Amalie.

Best day of our vacation was spending the afternoon sailing with Capt Mike. We took the ferry over to St John where he was waiting. We spent the afternoon sailing and snorkeling with sea turtles. Capt Mike was awesome and had plenty of food and drink for us. Found him on trip Advisor Morningstar Charters. Affordable and can accommodate up to 6 guests.

We took a tour bus around the island. One stop was Magen's Bay Beach which is normally packed with people but due to roads being flood from the storm we had the entire beach to ourselves! Incredible experience!!
