We rented a chartered bus and they took us out to snorkel where there were turtles and then to another area with lots of reefs and fish. We then went to honeymoon beach, it was definitely a great day!

The ship is 20 minutes from Charlotte, Amalie...so, don't pay taxi: take a walking excursion and enjoy the little things.

This was our favorite. The port was so welcoming. We used the Island Girl Ferry to travel over to St. John and snorkel at Truck Bay. I cannot say enough nice things about Island Girl and this excursion.

We got off the ship and walked the shopping area of the port and just beyond the port. We were approached by several people about taking a tour, once we left the actual port area, but they were not overly pushy. We opted just to shop and return to the ship on this day. The area surrounding the port was comfortable, felt safe, and offered some food, drink and souvenir shopping. The cable cars were very close in walking distance from the port, but we did not ride them.
