We did not do a Cunard excursion, we found a taxi (loads at the port) and agreed a price with the driver who took us all over the island. Much cheaper than Cunard excursions. We like St Thomas would visit again, the people are very friendly.

Such a naturally beautiful island. Magen's Bay was just gorgeous. The only slightly concerning thing there was there were schools of tiny silver fish that kept jumping out of the water together lol! It kept scaring me, and then the pelicans kept diving in the water very close to us to get the fish. Haha

We have been to St. Thomas before and we didn't do anything special. We walked around the port area for about an hour and got back on board. When we got back on board, there was no one on board so all venues were pretty much empty which was great on the pool deck.

Megan's Bay was beautiful. Loved it Had a couple of Bushwhackers at the beach bar, and they were great.

Did take a ride on the Sky Ride and enjoyed that ride very much. Then went into town and bought some jewelry and that was nice.

What a great place for shopping, top service and great advice. Very friendly people. We did the island tour with guide, he told us all about the pirates. We love this island.

Seeing the devastation from the storms was heart breaking! We chose to go to sapphire beach instead of Magen’s bay.... really glad we did. The beach was not crowded, we were one of 2 buses and a total of about 20 people? The resort on the beach still had no power so they were operating as cash only, we were able to snorkel and paddle board and some other stuff.... they had coolers for cold beverages, the bar was the same way... it was kinda sad but actually kinda of neat to see the way locals were still trying to make the best and make stuff work for the tourists.... I have to say the bar tender was awesome and in great spirits, every local we talked to had said how glad they were that tourists were coming back because that’s there I come! The beach was clean, the water was clear, it was quiet and relaxing! I chose this one after seeing a you tube video of it comparing it to Magen’s bay, and after hearing stories from others that chose Magen’s bay, I’m positive I made the right choice and didn’t miss anything!!

My favorite port in the Caribbean. We love to take the ferry to St. John, but there are also plenty of beautiful beaches to explore while staying on St. Thomas too.
