St. Thomas is easily my favorite port! Magen’s Bay is the most gorgeous beach with beautiful water. A 15-20 min taxi ride from the ship. They also have a bar with delicious rum punch and few (kind of pricey) lunch items.

Did a snorkeling excursion which was a lot of fun. The island is absolutely beautiful, all of the surrounding islands were beautiful. The water was gorgeous. Loved this island

We visited Magens Bay and absolutely loved it! We've been to beaches in Mexico, Cuba, and the Dominican republic and this one was the best we've ever seen. It was beautifully maintained, safe, no one bothered you on the beach. Also, if you walk down to the end of the beach you're completely alone so it's super romantic and private. We would visit again.

Just find a cab and go to Magens Bay. It is rated as a top 10 beach in the world. It is beautiful with calm, clear waters. Dinning options and fresh fish stands a plenty. There are servers selling drinks along the beach too.

We went to Magen's Bay and snorkeled. Took a taxi ride their and back. When you get off the ship their is a billboard like sign with the prices for taxi's depending on where you are going so their isn't any confusion. The fares are per person and then they also give the price of the beach fee as well so you know ahead of time. It was a great time for a great price. The ship was selling this as an excursion for way more then what we paid. Would definitely come back to this port!

St. Thomas: Nice shopping, but we quickly hopped a cab and ferry to St. John to spend the day at Trunk Bay, great romantic place...... "This is our spot" for sure!

DO NOT buy an excursion to go to the beach! Our cruise port was at Heavensight. As soon as you get off the ship there is a sign with taxi fare prices to beaches and locals you would like to go to. We went to Magen’s Bay and paid $8 each way and $5 entrance fee to enter the beach. It is well worth it! The beach is SUPER clean! Sand all throughout and no rocks and minimal shells! We constantly saw fishes swimming that’s how clear the water is and the views are amazing! No wonder is in the Top National Geographic! There’s also a beach bar and restaurant. The drink prices varies from $7 and up. I purchased a Rum Punch for $8 and it was pretty strong! When you wish to leave the beach there are many taxis that will bring you back to the port! After you get back you can do some shoppings there are plenty of shops. St. Thomas is so beautiful very well worth it to get off the ship!

We booked an independent tour thru Godfrey Tours (online). This worked out seamlessly. Our first stop was the Gift Shop on top of the "mountain" (famous for it's Banana daiquiri's). This is by far the best place to purchase ALL your souvenirs. The selection was amazing, as were the prices! Also via the island tour we scoped out Magen's Bay, Coki Beach, and Sapphire Beach. Coki Beach was a total "no way" for us...tiny beach with zillions of people and local "salesman" hounding you from the moment we opened the van door! Sapphire was a bit more relaxed & laid-back but Magen's Bay definitely took the cake. Beautiful setting and large enough to escape the crowd if you were willing to walk a ways down the beach.
