Magens Bay, awesome beach. Plenty of places to throw down a towel. Grab an extra excursion towel from your steward and don't waste the money on the chairs. You have to pay a deposit and drag it down to wherever you want to setup. Don't waste the time with that, spend your time in the clear blue water lounging and watching the pelicans.

LOVED St. Thomas! We went to Coki beach and it was beautiful. Then we ate at the Tap and Still by the port. The BEST chicken wings ever! We ended up getting a ride from a local because the bus driver told us the wrong time. She recommended this place and took us there. If you get a chance to eat that is a must.

St. Thomas is one of my favorite ports. It is so picturesque and there are so many things to do here. We have been three times as stops on cruises. The first time we did a half day at Magens Bay beach and then walked around town shopping and had lunch. The second time, we just went to Magens Bay and last month we did a catamaran to St. John snorkeling at Honeymoon Beach. All were awesome and I look forward to a return visit!

We have been here many times and enjoy each visit. There was a bit of rain which halted the Sky Ride we had planned to take. So we joined some fellow passengers in an open air bus for a trip around the Island to the highest point where we could view both sides. A most enjoyable adventure.

Snorkeling was so much fun here. We snorkeled turtle cove. I would go back and do it again. I don’t remember much from the boat ride back because they fed us all the rum you could drink. I found out that after snorkeling I was really thirsty. 🤭🤭🤭

St. Thomas is beautiful. Very friendly people. I didn't book an excursion here. As soon as you get off the boat there is a welcome center with lovely people to help you plan on how to spend your day. They have good information, coupons and free postcards. On my own we did the Sky Ride $21pp to see the Island from above. Beautiful. Red flowering trees called Flamboyant were stunning. Saw iguanas sleeping in them. At the top there's shopping of mainly local crafts. You can get drinks and food. Service was very slow. If you don't mind waiting and using up time, enjoy the views while a local musician plays the steel drums. After the Sky ride we walked back to port area to grab a taxi to Megan's Bay, $16 one way for 2 people. The taxi ride was about 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back during work week traffic. Scary, scary ride!! Driver was good but getting there was going up over a mountain, very steep up and down on roads with deep cliffs and no guard rails!! Definitely a nail biter of a ride!! The reward of the beach is well worth it. It was very crowded however. We swam one at a time as I felt uncomfortable leaving my belongings so far out of view. Water was warm and so clear. I would love to go back and see more and maybe try the ferry to St. John. One of our taxi drivers name was Abraham Lincoln (no joke) and he was happy to talk about his island and gave a bit of history. Nice, nice man.

St. Thomas is a destination I will be sure to visit again! There is so much to see there! Our favorite place is the Pirates museum. You will see treasures that have been found on the oceans bottom in picture form and the actual piece! It was amazing!!
