The boys did the FlyBoarding excursion with Royal Caribbean; a group of 12 and a generous 30 minutes with the 'boots on; the rest of the time they enjoyed the water & watching the others FlyBoard. Both loved it!! Emerald Beach was lovely & refreshing, even had a little place with shade, cold beer, limited hot food & bathrooms. We practically had the beach to ourselves for a few hours, until 80 people got off a catamaran that sailed into the bay. But the water was lovely & refreshing!!

For $175, we hired Dean's Taxi Service to take 4 of us sightseeing and to Magen's Bay. A week before our trip, Dean's wife emailed us and told us he had been hurt in a car accident (thoughts and prayers), but they had already arranged for another service to take care of us. Our driver was waiting for us at 8:30am right outside the ship. He took us to all of the popular viewing points like Drake's Seat and Moutain Top before the crowds got there. We were the only people there, which was nice. Absolutely beautiful views. The banana daquiri at Moutain Top is worth getting. Delicious! After that, he took us to Magen's Bay and we swam for 3 hrs. The water is SO clear! Coming from NJ, my kids were shocked ocean water could look like that. Magen's Bay was not crowded as we were the only ship in port. After the beach, our driver took us to the part of town where all of the jewelry shops are located. I felt the employees of the shops were a little pushy. I won't buy anything in a store if they follow me around. My daughter found a St. Thomas Alex&Ani charm she loved. We were back on the ship by 2. Very nice day.

The port itself is nice. The shopping was great with nice shops near the ship. We were there when the original banana daqueri place was open but has since burned down. The not so nice was the Jeep excursion we went on. We were under the impression it was some off road driving and there was none.

We went to Coki and Sapphire Beaches. Both beaches were very nice but the snorkeling was....uneventful. just fish and a few tarpon. No visits by sea turtles or any rays. The food, as mentioned in other people's posts was very expensive as were the taxi rates. The amount charged for two chairs on Sapphire was $9 each and two chairs and an umbrella on Coki were $20. We probably would explore other beaches/snorkeling spots on future trips.

We loved this port and our last minute city tour with Brenda and Franko. We just had to get used to them driving on the left side of the narrow streets. Other than that we would go back for vacation.

We went parasailing which was amazing. We took a taxi to Coki beach that cost $36.00 for two round trip for the 10 minutes we spent on the very poorly maintained beach, there were no water activities (jet ski in non-working condition) and absolutely didn't feel safe. Would never do this port of call again.

You still see a lot of damage because of them rebuilding. Not a lot to see without booking an excursion. People were pretty friendly. Lots of places needed cash instead of credit cards.

Its a Beautiful place and the people are friendly. Just watch out for the traffic near the port because it can be busy! Next time we will plan a tour of the island.
