We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather for a beach day. We didn't find it crowded and there were enough beach chairs for everyone. We were glad we brought our water shoes because parts of the beach were a little rocky. The water was fabulous on the day we speant here. The food was enjoyable. We did the Wave Runners and had a great time. The "bad" part were the sea gulls near the food. Ugh!! For the most part, staff picked up all the empty dishes, etc. right away. However, some people feel they need to feed these birds, which just makes for a scene out of the Alfred Hitchcock film. Also, on the way back in from the island, on the tender, we seemed to just wait around on the boat, in the hot, hot sun, until the boat before use unloaded. I needed another dip in the water after that. All in all, a great day!

Big family trip this time and it was good ti have a relaxing beach time, band played good island music, facilities kept in good condition, food offered by the cruise was like any other beach day. Cruise staff brought some games and fun entertainment.

We were lucky as our ship was the only one in port, therefore plenty of room. The wife and I went on the jet ski excursion. It was great! I got to go fast and she got to go slow. They split the group in two according how fast you want to go. Plenty of food for lunch just watch out for the seagulls!!

This was by far the best port. I had a cabana all day and not only was it relaxing, quiet and away from the other 4,000 guests on the island, the food and drinks were some of the best I had all week. The only draw back was there was no transportation to the cabanas, and the cove where mine was located, was farthest from the embarkation point - it was quite a long way to walk, and who wants to have to do that when you're relaxing on vacation? :)

Tendering is a bitch. if book an excursion you get an automatic tendering ticket with your excursion ticket. if not, you have to wake up early to get an assigned tendering time OR wait until tendering is open for all. give yourself 1hr-45 minutes to get through the line to get on the tendering boat, and get onto the island. (ACCIDENTAL HACK: if you take the farthest elevators instead of the stairs, it will open towards the front of the line. if we didn't have an excursion, I would have waited to tender in the very beginning or later.) BOOK THE JETSKI EXCURSION! We booked the two person jetski tour and had an amazing time. the entire session is about 1.5hrs - 45 minutes of orientation/prep and 45 minutes of actual driving. BRIAN, RICO AND BENSON, led our tour group were THEE BEST. They made you feel safe but also, made the experience so much fun. halfway through the driving tour, you can jump in the water (its shallow and you're also wearing a life vest) and you can switch drivers at this point. during this break time, the drivers do some pretty cool tricks to entertain you. if youre a first time driver or dont want do go fast, they separate you into 2 or 3 groups.. fast, medium and slow. once your on the jetski, youre assigned a number and take off one by one and drive off in a single file line. They assess who should be which number in line, and will reassign numbers. so dont worry about feeling like you have to go fast. you can also let them know you wanna drive medium or slower. I let my boyfriend drive the entire session because it was his birthday present. he also drove with the fast group, and it was much more enjoyable for me to be the passenger and enjoy the scenery and the speed. our tour was booked for 10:45, however there were thunderstorms close by so out tour was postponed for 1:15 if weather permitted. luckily, weather was on our side! worst case scenario, we would have been refunded. Our boat, the Norwegian Sky, was the only boat there that day. we got to the beach around 1030/11 and there were still TONS of seats under the shade, if there was a another boat or a mega ship there along with us, It would have been packed. the first two sections are very shaded, and the last beaches closer to the cabanas have less shade, but have clam covers for rent. there will be less people in the farther beaches, but you can't head the music as well, so it just depends on what kind of vibe youre looking for.

Private islands are pretty nice to me. Snorkeling was nice, but there aren't any lockers to lock up your money and IDs that we were told to bring with us. Royal Caribbean has lockers....just a hint. Like everywhere else this trip, the lines for anything were long....for the tender, for the BBQ buffet, for the bar, etc.

Visit here was short because of the weather but we got off and enjoyed the island for a few hours. The water is gorgeous and nice temperature. Island construction was all around. The workers started taking down the signs and the shops were closing early when we went. I’m not sure it was the weather or their norm, and this detracted from overall enjoyment. There were loungers everywhere which made it nice. There are restrooms and showers available on the island. Don’t forget to take your towel because they are not provided on the beach.

The tenders to take you to the island are free. Book the early ones because the island gets crowded and there isn't much shade. You can book it in customer service on the cruise.
