Honestly overall not a terrible port yes if you go to the beach it’s a long ride maybe 30 minutes but you get to see some of the nice stuff on the island (not gonna lie a lot of it was sad looking) but if you get the right driver they’ll give you history songs and jokes and forget all about how long it takes the beach was nice a little crowded but overall nice we didn’t have much time in the port itself though

I enjoyed Freeport Bahamas more than Nassau Bahamas just because it was quite and didn't feel like a tourist trap like Nassau Bahamas. The beach we went to was very nice.

I booked an excursion to go to Paradise cove-deadman's reef. the resort was well-kept and I had nice snorkeling there. I definitely recommend it (you need to book on their website).

Not much to see. Lots of containers an a small straw market. We didn’t venture off much at this port but didn’t see anything that interested us. Maybe next time we will take a excursion.

Excursion was cancelled again here. There is really nothing to do at Freeport unless you book an excursion. I will only book cruises that don't go there from now on.

Not worth getting off the boat. Took a island and beach tour. The island is still not recovered from a hurricane Matthew witch was two years ago. The beaches were not taking care of at all the shopping part was very disappointing. Only a few shops open witch all sold the same goods.

What a wasted stop...no city to speak of and just junk made in China.

Unless you do an excursion at this port, it is not worth going into "town" to shop.
