Do NOT book a trip to a private beach. The ship publishes a list of beaches the day of. Take a cab. The private beach is a rip off.

We loved kayaking in Freeport and enjoyed the beautiful private beach!

We booked a private, all inclusive beach day excursion last minute and enjoyed every minute. It was the highlight of our cruise. We visited after a hurricane and much of Freeport was still recovering, so outside of our excursion we did not see anything memorable. If it wasn't for the excursion this port would have been a dud.

FOR ME AND MY GROUP FREEPORT IS A ZERO. IF YOU TAKE A TAXIS AND THE MAN NAME IS ZEDRIC, HE IS LOUD, FORCEFUL, AND VERY DEMANDING. MY GROUP WAS 16 PEOPLE AND HE REALLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US SOME OF MY GROUP THOUGHT WE WERE ONLY GOING TO THE THE BEACH AND THAT WAS ONLY $3.00 AND SOME HEARD WE WERE GOING ON A TOUR PLUS THE BEACH AND THAT WAS $30.00. ZEDRIC WAS TALKING SO FAST THE COMMUNICATION WAS NOT CLEAR. THE TOUR WAS NOT WHAT WE BARGAIN FOR WE SEEN CONDEMN HOMES, CAR LOTS AND THERE LOW INCOME HOME AND TO TOP IT OFF ONE OF THE LADIES ASK HIM DID HE LIVE IN ONE OF THE HOMES AND WE LAUGH, I GUESS HE TOOK IT PERSONAL AND WE ENDING UP AT HIS HOUSE AND A FEW PEOPLE ACTUALLY GOT OUT AND TOOK PICTURES. WE COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAD HAPPEN. AFTER WE CAME FROM THE BEACH THE GROUP THAT DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE TOUR SAID THEY WAS GOING TO PAY FOR THAT TYPE OF TOUR SO ZEDRIC TOOK ALL OF US TO THE POLICE STATION. IF YOU EVER HEARD ZEDRIC'S NAME JUST FINE ANOTHER TAXIS.

Unfortunately Hurricane Dorian hit Freeport extremely hard so we were not able to visit this port.
