No Wi-Fi. Not much to see or do without a planned excursion.

Loved Freeport. The port is not much to look at, but plenty of shopping. Don't waist your time going to the straw market. The same stuff can be had at the port. One thing about the Bahamas, once you visit one hut/vendor, you've seen them all. We went to an all inclusive resort and paid $15ea for access to their private beach. I have never touched sand so perfect.(think powder) Cab ride there was $5ea. round trip. There was a market across the street. Again, every hut had the same stuff. Still kind of fun to look though.

All we got to see on our excursion was the hurricane devastation.

Freeport was not my favorite by any means. The staff there was fantastic, however the weather that day was quite over cast. We did book an excursion for this port because I heard it was best to do that. We took a bus to Taino Beach where they had chairs, umbrellas, water activities, shops, etc. The beach was not nearly as nice, but that could have had a lot to do with the bad weather. It was about 50.00 per person and then I paid an extra 20 when I got there to have open bar. All in all it was ok..nothing like Nassau though!

Our sail and snorkel tour was cancelled then our alternate tour of Grand Bahamas by bus was cancelled because they couldn't get the proper sized transportation bus And we were offered no recourse or compensation. Terrible customer service.
