While we chose to not do an excursion, we did walk around and toured the straw market and some of the local food booths. I feel like in just doing this we were able to get a feel for the Bahamian life style more-so here than in Nassau.

Initially after getting off ship at this port we waited to be picked up and transported to our shore excursion for a “beach hideaway”. The area where we get off ship is industrial and from what we seen even when en route the island is run down and delapitaed. Our driver told us he island was not safe. The beach hideaway was gated and secured which we thought was odd but it was to ensure our safety. I rated this a 4 because the beach was gorgeous and the staff here were great.

Did the Jeep adventure ! Great excursion ! Saw the town ,stopped ate lunch and also went to the beach and did a little shopping also . Very hot! Don’t forget the sunblock

Went to the Grand Lucayan hotel and took advantage of their day pass. Beach, hot tubs, pools, bathrooms, a great bar for only like $20 each for the day. Really great choice. If I had it to do over I would have gotten their all inclusive day pass for 70 with unlimited free bar and food.

We did not do an excursion. We got off of the ship but there wasn’t much to do or see.

Spent my 40th birthday doing a 12 mile bike ride across the island. Our guide was great. The ride wasn't difficult, just hot! We stopped for lunch and then continued by van to the beach for about 2 hours and then back to the port for shopping.

Once again I walked around did a little shopping without anyone being pushy. I do love seeing all the different things they have. Ladies if your looking at their dresses make sure to check them out closely and try them on, I tried a few and they were sewn wrong, or had a tear in it. Sakkas online has dresses like these and the quality of the fabric is better and the prices are lower.
