Nothing to do at the port. Must take a taxi or arrange transportation to the straw market or one of the nearby resorts. We went to the straw market and walked across the street to a resort. It cost $20 to access their facility, but it included WiFi, pool and their beach with loungers. Beautiful Resort. Wish there were more options at the Port. It was cool for a cheap 2 night cruise on Grand Celebration. found a deal on Groupon. 2 people in an ocean view cabin for $269 together not per person.

did a carnival excursion and felt like we didn't get our money's worth - not enough time at the resort

Didn’t do a lot here. This was our first cruise in 2012. Walked around and visited the beach, but didn’t stay long. It was nice and hot. I did but some T-shirt’s.

This was by far my favorite and most relaxing stop. I will definitely plan on returning back to the Grand Lucayan Resort. We shared a cab to the resort with another family. Dropped us off at the straw Market which is about a block away from the resort. We did the all exclusive food and drinks included access to the very nice pool and Beach and restrooms and whatnot well worth it. O ya and Wi-fi too, my teen boys loved that. Lol Inside and outside staff were kind and friendly. Did not meet one rude person. We were able to buy necklaces, bracelets, etc, my wife was also able to braid her hair all on the beach. Very memorable!!! Cant wait to go back and stay there!!!

We did an all inclusive excursion to the beach. The food was not worth it, but the beach was nice.

We did not care for Freeport at all. It’s a very industrial port and there aren’t many options for excursions. We elected for the all inclusive beach day and so did 80% of our shipmates and the passengers from the other ship in port that day. The water and beach itself are wonderful. Very beautiful setting but it was incredibly CROWDED! The place is a tourist trap and there are long waits for almost everything. We will be avoiding Freeport in the future.

Just visited the shopping area around the ship. Not much to say. The times in port of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. were weird and made it hard to really enjoy.
