Very industrial port. We didn't do any excursions but I hear it was much better on the other side of the island. If you don't take an excursion and you aren't interested in drinking or buying nick nacks then I suggest just staying on the boat (unless you just want to step foot on the Freeport to say you did it). :-)

Did a bus tour excursion through Freeport. Very interesting and included a stop in Port Lacaya for some great shopping. Fun day

We did a beach/resort excursion to Grand Lucayan Lighthouse point. Pool was nice, beach was a little rough. DJ and activities at the pool were fun.

The port was dirty and industrial. We got off the ship, looked at the few outdoor market stores that were selling junk souvenirs and returned to the ship in less than 10 minutes

We did a Excursion, The best of Grand Bahamas. Not a lot to see, but the people were really friendly. We ended the day at the beach that was really great.
