Port was nice. Had good taxi service and was inexpensive for a first timer😃. Went to the market. Did a little shopping, Made it a day. Had lunch of lobster tail and conch fritters. Good atmosphere and music. Friendly all around

I had never been to the bahamas so this was fun, the cab drivers were friendly and cheap, from the port to the town about 5 bucks per person. Town was ok, typical port some shopping and bars with a few cigar shops and duty free liquor shops. The beach was enjoyable and not terribly crowded.

Need to give guests more information on how to get to the various beaches, the taxi fare involved, etc... People were wandering around looking for the Beach entrance. Carnival may want to look into "exchange priviledges" so their guests can use the beach at the various hotels (i.e. Westin, Our Lucaya, etc...)

We did not do an excursion at this port. We got off the shop and visited the straw market adjacent to the ship. We had a good time talking to the locals who pointed out items they had for sale. They were no overly pushy I'll in trying to sale something and allowed us to look. We did go back to a few of them to make purchases once we had shopped all the vendors.
