Industrialized Port. Not much to do here unless you have an excursion. Some shops at port or a 30 min. drive/taxi to Port Laplayta

Actually could do without this stop entirely. If you want to get off the ship, book an excursion.

We stayed in the little town when you get off the ship and everyone was wonderful! Nice, helpful locals and the best pina coladas and conch salad ever!!!!

The port was definitely a little questionable at first. However, we did the ATV excursion and it was AMAZING! Dwaine our guide was extremely knowledgeable during the ride in the van. Once on the ATV's it was just too much fun. LOVED IT!

We went to the resort for a day excursion at the Wyndham Resort. It was breathtaking! Loved all the activities available to do such as sailing and swimming in their grand pool. Would definitely recommend this excursion to all.

yes we did the beach with lunch and drinks .... beach has lots of sharp rocks in the water so swim shoes are recommended beautiful beach, there are few venders on the beach mainly peddling homemade trinket's BE CAREFUL NOT TO BUY ANY starfish/shells or anything made from them they can not come back through customs. The food was ok not much to choose from and the drinks were few.

This was the best port for me. I only go into port to buy souvenirs and maybe have a meal. There are shopping areas right off the ship so it is super convenient. The brick/mortar shops close up are difficult to maneuver in a scooter, and they are more expensive for the same stuff that is cheaper a little further out. Past these shops are the more stall like shops, with a little bigger variety, and I think lower prices. Everyone is very friendly, and not too pushy.
