Very Nice port and people

We visited the Hopewell Rocks at the Fundy national park. It was cute. Long 2.5 hour bus ride. Minimal bathrooms and our bus broke down half way back to the ship.

We did not do an excursion, which was a mistake because the town itself was only so so.

A very walkable city. Not very big. A little bit hilly at some parts but not too bad if you take it slow.

Port is in the heart of downtown. As we left the ship/entered the dock area, the women of St. John greeted us and gave each of us a rose (wrapped & in a mini-water holder; lasted for days). I'd never experienced that in any other port. Toured the town by horse-drawn carriage, which covered a lot of the major sights. Walked through the town's traditional market (small but interesting) on the return to the ship.

Nice place to stroll.

We did the pink bus hop on hop off. The tour guide was very knowledgeable & entertaining. The best part of NB is the people. Everyone was welcoming & helpful.

The weather was a major disappointment. It rained all day except for an hour and a half prior to our departure from port.
