The most unsightly port we’ve ever sailed into. Industrial town so could be forgiven but it doesn’t exactly inspire anyone to get off the ship and go see.

Very old city, some what dirty....took the ships tour "reversing falls and scenic st. john" $99.00 Very Expensive and disappointing ...Handicap tour, bus held 8 passengers, provided a lift for my Scooter, our guide spoke about where he grew up, live and Worked....this tour grossed $800. and the worst tour we had on any cruise , this was our 18 th cruise......should have a refund coming, it was that bad, of course, that is not going to happen !

Saint John itself isn't noteworthy. We rented a car and drove to Fundy National Park, which is about 90 minutes from Saint John. There are many nice trails, waterfalls, covered bridges, and the ability to walk on the Bay of Fundy "beach" at low tide. It would have been nice to have had more time in the port, which would have enabled us to visit Hopewell Rocks, which is an hour further than Fundy but even nicer.

We did the St Johns highlights and it was awful. The bus was so hot everyone was sweating and the bus driver and guide didn't do anything about it 😡😡 I didn't enjoy it at all. I am so unhappy and feel like I wasted my money. Make sure your bus has air conditioning or you'll be miserable.
