Nice price but a little disappointing

Review summary
My wife and I have sailed on Carnival a dozen times between us but thought this particular cruise came up short. We were upgraded to Spa deck oceanview staterooms, which were 10 square feet larger and had floor to ceiling windows; however, they were adjacent to a flight of stairs and noise/music from the Lido deck could be heard in the room until midnight. Also, although the ship is only seven years old, I thought its age was starting to show: chipped paint in many places; jogging track needed resurfacing.Ports of call
Pros: Floor to ceiling windows in stateroom
Cons: Inconsistent level of service
Recommends Carnival Victory? No.
