Historical city with the Citadel, the Titanic Cemetery, the Public Garden, and Peggy's Cove Lighthouse. Nice waterfront walking path next to the ship. Lots of old churches and cemeteries in the middle of town.

We didn't have time to do much in Halifax other the excursion which took us to Peggy's Cove and the Titanic Cemetery. We had been to enthusiastic about spending a couple of hours on a bus to drive to Peggy's Cove, but are glad we did. Charming little village. The drive and visit were well worth the effort. The Titanic Cemetery was moving.

Took an excursion to see Peggy's Coast and the Titanic Grave Site. It was a great experience. Love Peggy's Coast and felt humble by the stories from the Titanic passengers and the site. Totally enjoyed.

Had been here before. Walked along the long boardwalk and then a friend gave us a private tour of the highlights of Halifax. Also visited Pier 21 to gather some more information as this is where My wife immigrated to Canada in 1955.

This is a great city and could spend 3 days there and even more exploring the countryside. Lots to do. This is Canada's 150 year anniversary so all the public sites were free to enter.
