Lived in Maine in the past so familiar with this port, so we just walked around, the beautiful wife wanted a lobster roll went to The Thirsty Whale, a nice place cold beer and terrific food.

No excursion. Shopping is great here and I highly recommend Stewmans Lobster Pound. There is food available for people who are allergic to seafood.

Beautiful Scenic old town. Took whale watch excursion and saw a whale frolicking with two dolphins. Didn’t show much but he surfaced a few times. It can be really cold outside especially when the boat is rushing to the site. Bundle up. Sitting outside may not be great strategy because once a whale is spotted everyone piles out to the rail in front of you. Glad we did it.

Tour to Acadia / Cadillac Mtn..should have cancelled due to poor weather conditions this morning ! No views just heavy fog and very misty cold raw ..some views through windows of bus were nice but..and town is quaint pretty but , weather literally dampened our visit. Also not sure why they had us up and out so early (7am ) to tender 745 and start trip 815 for what? Town wasn't open yet, foggy wet..oh well made best of it looking in stores typical tourist stuff knick nack's sweatshirts same over and over..we left back to tender around 1pm..wish we were like many others who were just leaving the ship to go, because at least the weather improved somewhat by then. Took a nap back on the ship..😌😴

This town used to be the summer home for the riches like Kennydy family. There are some nice big old houses, Lots of shopping, and great Loster lunch.
