The fog was killer that day but we were able to enjoy the town with another hop on hop off trolley. The guides were awesome with the history and stories of the town.

We ate lunch at The Route 66 Cafe. The lobster is to die for. Forget eating on the waterfront, go here!

We did get to make port here on my second cruise 🛳 though all water excursions were canceled. I enjoyed exploring Bar Harbor on foot.

Bar harbor is great. If you plan on exploring Acadia National Park I would highly reccomend using the Free island explorer buses. Can't wait to go back!

Tender port. But easy on/off the ship. And a great port. Highly recommend getting into Acadia National Park, as the more you see away from Bar Harbor the better. But a beautiful town and island.

Bar Harbor itself is not terribly interesting, but one goes to Bar Harbor to see Acadia National Park, which is gorgeous and amazingly diverse in terms of the flora and fauna. The view from Cadillac Mountain is breathtaking. Our excursion was a mini-bus tour of the park and it was a wonderful experience.
