We had rain the first day, so we just did a bus tour. The second day we took the ferry. I know there is plenty to do and see on the island Unfortunaltely, my foot surgery didin't allow for too much activity. Both my husband and myself have been to Burmuda before and love the island.

Walking through the quaint shops and visiting Tobacco bay and St. Catherines gives you a great feel for St. George's. We really wished we had taken the horsedrawn carriage tour. We rented scooters which allowed us to see so much of the island on our own. It was a great way to see everything and enjoy the wonderful smells of the beautiful flowers that are everywhere!

Nice island; definately research it before you go. The Majesty stays there several days so you should have time to see the whole island. We rented mopeds and drove around the island. The ship does not like guest to do this because it is dangerous and I would only recommend if you already own a bike and have considerable riding experience. You have to ride on the left hand side of the road and the roads are narrow, without many traffic "rules"; confusing for Americans. We are a short couple so we could ride on one scooter; ask around for a good price on a scooter; big discounts if you ask.

The thing that people should know before cruising to Bermuda is that most things close at 5:00pm! Tourist areas, shopping, most resturants- everything! It rained almost every day of our cruise and there really was not enough to do on the island, esp. since we were docked there for 4 days.
