I was able to walk a block to a library and check my e-mail. ' We took a taxi tour of the Island. That was ok. We took a bus to a beach. There was a public bathroom which stank to high heaven. The bus signs were confusing. It was hard to figure out until we asked a resident. The buses were an inexpensive way to see parts of the Island

Everything was accessible from the port that we wanted to see or do. There are local buses and ferries and there was no sense of rushing or having to beat the crowds since there were none.

Limiting time in this port especially when arriving on a Sunday. Shops were closed and the public bus on limited schedule. The Horseshoe Bay beach was nice, but, very crowded.

Buy the transportion pass and use the ferrys and buses. It is very reasonable, $20 for a 2-day pass, and very reliable. It is a great way to see the island. We went to the lighthouse, and it was closed for climbing, but the view it still worth the climb up the hill. The ferry is very fast and clean. I would not pay to see the Cathedral Falls again. Although it was beautiful, it was not worth the money. We have much bigger and more beautiful caves in the states.

we would have preferred two days in quiet and simple St George to the two days had in noisey, heavily trafficked, overbuilt Hamilton. Why not 2 days in St George, one in Hamilton?
