No excursion there. We disembarked and got on the train to Talkeetna, which we loved.

Very small town. Only disembarked here to coach that took us to Anchorage. Coach ride was very informative and we saw a lot of water falls and a few creatures.

The tunnel was really interesting, an engineering marvel. We didn't do anything around the port but the embarkation center was very efficient.

When you get close to the cruise terminal, your bus or train will go through a one-way tunnel that is 2.5 miles long.

Not much to see in Whitter, but it is jumping off place for Anchorage - we got a great tour from bus driver on our way to the Airport
