Whittier was where we disembarked and got on the train to go to Denali. It was not Anchorage. Anchorage after our land tour was a lovely city.

Didn't really spend anytime here other then getting off the train onto the ship. The story of Whittier was pretty interesting though. Kind of a secluded small town.

Got on the train to Denali straight from the ship. Would have liked a couple of hours at Anchorage

There is not much to see in Whittier. Its military history; the tunnel is fun to cross.

Getting on HAL Noordham 5/22 and debark at Vancouver 5/29. Got email from HAL- not enough tests for everyone on the ship. Had to make appointment at Vancouver airport for covid test($79)

We spent time in Anchorage before the cruise and really enjoyed it. Rented vehicle and visited Mt Alyeska and the wildlife conservation center. Ate at some really good places.
