Ports are becoming more and more commercialized. Icy Strait Point is the most authentic Alaska

We had a couple of days here before the cruise left from Port of Vancouver. It is an incredible city - very busy and very productive, and yet all that business is done with a great deal of calmness - almost serenity.

Stanley Park and Granville Market are definite must dos. The weather prevented us from a trip up to Whistler and Grouse Mountain.

Great port and beautiful city! Short stop here. More time would have been nice. Walked to Darcy's Pub for dinner. Pedi-cab back to the ship. Awesome flowers.

We did the Stanley Park and Downtown highlights excursion, which was fun. We were staying for a couple of extra days, so we wanted to check out some highlights for ideas on what to see while there. We had a great time on the excursion and enjoyed our longer stay afterward.
