Spectacular place. We did all on our own and suggest that you stay for a day or two and take in the city. It is worth it.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge was fascinating, and fun to explore the tree maze. Worth seeing. We took an all-day bus trip to Vancouver Island, and toured the Parliament building and the lovely Butchard Gardens. The ferry ride was fun and festive! BEST TIP: Get to Vancouver Place several hours early, and go to the FLY OVER CANADA show. An amazing experience! Buy tickets online the night before to save money and skip the long lines. We reserved a 10 am show, which got us to boarding in good time.

Excursion...pick up @ hotel, tour city, end up at ship to check in...luggage handled from hotel to our cabin...highly recommend this service.

Great Canadian city but Gastown is closed to being overrun with the homeless. If looking for cheaper options to and from Vancouver, check out Canadian Rail/Amtrak between it and Seattle Wa. Train will be running sometime in Sep and really is stunning scenery between the two cities.

Pretty port. Arrived 7:15 am, disembarked at 8:10 am waiting for baggage to be ready. Breezed through Canadian customs. Short walk to the Skytrain, $4 CAD ($3 USD) and an easy ride to the airport. Delta got me onto an earlier flight and I was taking off at 11:20 am despite US Customs at the airport hauling me into secondary due to someone with the same name who is wanted.

Took the bus tour around town. Beautiful clean town. Wished I had taken High Tea Next time I will bought a lot of Canadian Tea. Will be returning in 2019.

Too bad it was a rainy night. We made the best of it and hung out at the hot tub! I love that Norwegian permitted us on board as soon as we wished and we could enjoy the day on the ship getting to know it.

Embarkation port. Holland America did a great job transporting us from the Airport to the Cruise Terminal and through the usual embarkation hassles.
