Rainy and we were tired after experiencing the storm on the ship the night before.

Nice city, we did our own hiking tour from the docks, about a 9 mile hike, beautiful and only saw one other person on the trail. No bears though, much to my dismay.

Beautiful little town, people were very nice. No excursions. Upstairs resturant, name forgotten, great chowder and king crab!

We booked a whale watching tour off the boat, actually cost more than on the boat, only about $17. more each, but the one with Carnival takes out 60 to 100 people we went out on a 31 foot boat just 6 of us. It was incredible, humpback whales were all around us. Did you know that whales have bad breath? There was this foul odor and our guide told us it was whale breath, there were so many around us, and there were so many blows that you could smell it. The boat was stopped in the water but we were rocking like crazy because of all of the whales around us. It was one of the best tours we have ever taken and well worth the money. Would definitely do it again.
