Getting off the ship was a cluster. It was the first day of two ships in Port and trying to get on free shuttles to town. So there was some longer than normal waiting time.

The ship docked good 5 miles away from Sitka. I had a dry suit snorkeling excursion, and by the time it was over I was too tired to visit the town.

A really charming town. We hiked Mount Verstovia, which was intense, but the spectacular views made it all worth it.
