Stayed one night and took awesome glacier tour on Star of the NW...highly recommend - great sights (whales, seals, mountain goats, eagles, & glaciers) and meal (Prime rib)!

Hertz is the only rental car place in town. Book in advance.

Every Port of Call was wonderful, great activities, at least for our group, and lots to do.

Only took the bus from Anchorage to Seward right to the cruise terminal and didn't do any Excursion or tour in Seward.

The transfer from the Quest to the beginning of a 4-night post-cruise adventure was highly organized.

Sealife Center was good. Seward has a free shuttle service that runs approximately every 30 minutes.

We went on a Kenjai Fjords excursion and saw lots of wildlife. Sea was a little rough. Then took the Alaskan Railroad to Anchorage. Definitely a wonderful way to see the mountains.

Had the smoothest/fastest embarkation experience EVER in Seward. Got there around 1pm. No wait. Didn't spend much time in town, but if I were to go again, I'd do one of the boat trips to the fjords.

All we did was arrive via a bus and embark the ship. Seemed like a regular fishing town.
