Lots of eagles. Almost no shopping. If shopping is your thing do it before Prince Rupert. Not much to see in town. This is perhaps a good time to take a nature tour.

Pick a cruise that doesn't stop here...what a waste! The downtown is skidrowish...only a couple of shops near the port that were interesting to look into...I wish we knew this before booking!

The Grizzly Bear excursion was awesome! Although requiring a long (1 1/2 hour each way) ride to the viewing spots, it was well worth it! For about twenty minutes we watched a mature female Grizzly go about her daily routine. Unforgettable!
