Why would anyone want to sail into this port? My wife and I felt that this was a waste of time. You really have to find a different port to visit. Perhaps Vancouver would be a nice addition.

Did not know which excursion trip to take - a bit disappointing.

I liked this place, since it wasn't swamped with tourists like the other ports. After Juneau and Skagway, I was sick of the crowds and shopping.

Sealife discovery/crab boat tour was worth it for the eagles, but not for the crab dinner. Description makes it sound like there's a nice bar on board, but all you can get is one beer or a wine cooler.

Not a lot to do that wasn't expensive. The shopping was so so. Would not have minded if we had missed this port.

why did we go here? It was not very nice and there wasn't much to see or do.

Didn't have time to visit the town as we took the whale watching excursion and it was too early in the season as the whales had not moved in - no whales or other wild life was viewed. Nice boat ride but expensive for just that...late July or August the whales move in (found out after booked and while on the ride).
