Town was OK, again same shops....Creek Street is cute but nothing special. We are from the PNW, so it all looked a lot like home.

We booked a fishing trip for the 5 of us in Ketchikan. They met us promptly and the fishing boat was literally next to the cruise ship. Hopped on and we were off! Captain William took us straight to where he thought we'd find king salmon. It took a bit of time but we ended up with 4 keepers. So much fun!! Alaska King Charter.

Again, long lines, lots of people and not enough time to see or experience the town.

Very rainy, an authentic Alaskan experience. Visited Totem Bight, which still was worth it in the rain.

Thé Wilderness Exploration Cruise and Crab Feast was the best! The guide called in eagles to almost take fish out of her hand. The eagles would catch it fish as she threw it up in the air. We were able to handle the live crabs from the traps as she discussed their biology and life as a crab.

Wow. Cool place. We did Float plane to Misty Fjords and it was cool... but not worth almost a grand in my opinion. I say this because we got off the plane, went back to town, went to local sports shop and bought rod, reel and jigs... and went fishing! My son loves to Fish and we fished up and down the creek. He caught many fish and that experience was just beautiful and the girls shopped. One of our highlights of the trip.
