So much to see! If you don’t have an excursion booked, research stuff to don we went to the Twisted Fish Co. for lunch and had some of the BEST crab legs ever!

It rained the whole time we were in port but we didn't mind one bit - we came prepared with rain gear and were just fine! We went whale-watching with Juneau Tours - so much fun! The staff/crew were great - smart, informative, and fun. Just down to earth guys who were as excited to see whales as we were. They said we saw about 7 whales (all humpback) but we saw them so many times that it seemed like we saw 20+! It was so excited to see and hear their blow then watch for their tales. None of them breached the water nor did they bubblenet feed however, it was just as exciting all the same! We started out trying to get great pics but those suckers are quick so then we went to video then (only after some great video of course 🤣) we decided to just experience it for ourselves - stop trying to capture it all on film and just watch. It was great! After whale watching we went to Red Dog Saloon for some good ole touristy drinks and fun. That place was really fun, especially after a few "duck fart" shots! 😜 We took some shots and had a few drinks then headed back to the ship. We took the shuttle bus - a "10 minute walk" was really probably about a 20-30 minute uphill walk which would have been fine but throw in the rain and a long, fun day - we were too tired.

A breath taking day plus wife and I had a great day whale watching hump back whales in a feeding frenzy. Did not want to leave and my Robert’s was a great after noon to enjoy Alaskan hospitality

Whale watching was the best. 12 whales surfaces at once five feet from our boat. Great views of Mendenhall glacier. Eagles and arctic seals were much closer and larger than imagined

For the capital city is was easy to get around. Very clean, and what awed me most was the lack of homeless in the streets. No panhandlers on the corners. You feel very safe. Loved the museums. No excursions since it was foggy and raining.

One of our favorite ports. We only had a day pass for the Mount Roberts Tramway, but we had the best time hiking the trails. We saw 3 bears!!!!!
