The tram in Juneau is the biggest RIP-off I have ever seen. 35 dollars to go up the mountain. At the top is a small gift shop. Everything at the top can be found in town. The view was spectacular but not 35 dollars worth.

Juneau was very interesting. We wish we would have had time to take the Tram ride up the mountain, but our Whale Watching Excursion and Salmon Bake took up the time. We saw Bald Eagles sitting on light poles like Pigeons. Our Whale Watching trip was incredible. We were so close to a Mother Humpback Whale and her calf that we could have touched them. Awesome pictures!!! The town really looked interesting, just wish we had a little more time here to see things.

Good. Did the dog sled musher camp, loved it. Also did Tracy's King Crab shack, it was a big disappointment to us in regards to the price and what we got, nothing like what we where told we would get. Waiter was very rude.

Whale watching and the Mendenhall Glacier. 4.5/5 Stars. The boat was nice, it had indoor and outdoor areas. Of course it was raining, which meant I was cold, and wet, and so was my camera, but we did see around 8 or so whales. I was pleased with everything. Then we went to the Glacier. It was cool, but considering you cruise to more glaciers later in the trip, I'm not sure I'd do that as a stand alone activity. We also went to a wonderful little coffee shop before we set off in Juneau called 60 Degrees. They had two mochas, the white walker, and dragon glass. They both were wonderful, and the best coffee we had on our trip. Highly recommend.
