We did the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest excusrion. We went for a cruise in search of whales first and this did not disappoint us. We enjoyed our time at the Mendenhall Glacier but as we had an early all aboard (1.30pm) we did not have enough time to fully appreciate the glacier or have any time to walk around what looked like a lovely town centre.

Take the tour of Alaskan Brewing Company (walk to their store in town and sign up, $20 per person gets you transportation to the brewery and 7 4-oz samples of their beers along with the tour)

We did the Mendenhall-Glacier Explorer. At the end of the trial, I was able to see a waterfall which was beautiful.

We did a helicopter ride through coastal helicopters. It was absolutely amazing!! we were the only people on the glacier during our ride. It was an incredible experience.
