Went on the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest. Got to experience and enjoy Mendenhall Glacier up close. Then board a catamaran to Stephens Passage. Saw lots of whales, no breaching but lots of tails. We fully enjoyed this excursion.

Juneau is my favorite port of call. Weather was gorgeous that day and we went on a tour taking us on a hike to see Mendenhall Glacier and then a boat ride to see orcas, humpback whales, porpoise and seals. The guide was outstanding!

Amazing port! We did a whale watching excursion. We got to see several humpback whales and a baby humpback whale playing in the water.

Despite the rain, we took the public bus to Mendenhall Glacier and hiked Nugget Falls and had a fantastic experience. I'd highly recommend taking the 40 minute bus rather than paying for a private tour bus. The public bus is only $2 per person (one way). You'll have to walk a mile from the bus stop to the visitor's center, but worth saving $40 per person!

Really liked Juneau. Took a whale watching excursion and visited Mendenhall Glacier. Saw several humpback whales as well as a pod of orcas in the distance. Glacier was pretty awesome. Could've used a little more time there, but that's just nitpicking. Great microbrewery in town called Devil's Club with excellent selection and good food.
