The zip line is cool but the one in Ketchikan is supposed to be better, I hear? I don't know, we hiked the forest (recommended! Spotted an Eagle!) and did some whale watching at the pier.

Liked this port, due to the fact it was a native people. We did take the excursion "Spasski River Valley Wildlife & Bear Search". We did not see bear but the guide was wonderful. She explained everything about the Valley and the town. This was great.

No real "Town Here"..but the Native Cultural Center performance was well worth the visit to Hoonah!

Did the "Bear Search Excursion" - Icy Strait is very small port - which is both good and bad. The good - only one cruise ship, the bad - it's very small - not much to do. Would have preferred another port, like Ketchikan.
