Great place for photographing bears. Cozy town with friendly people. We enjoyed this port a lot. It is more authentic than the other ports of call.

Awful weather at this port! I don't understand why it's a stop. It poured the entire time and the excursions were very limited. We took the wildlife and forest tram and only saw 1 deer in almost 2 hours. The "tram" consisted of golf carts attached to a main cart. There are no doors and no sides. It was very cold and very wet!

We used a private charter for fishing, have about 30# of Halibut and cod fish coming this weekend! Limit for Halibut was 1 per person, but they are quite large. The town itself is very quaint. No directions to shops, we missed the town crab shack since it was on our bus ride back to the port. Husband and I both feel they would benefit from a Tourism specialist in the city.
