The Wildlife Adventure with Steve. Absolutely a one of a kind experience you get no where else. The animals are up close and so wonderful to be able to see these. I'll never forget being greeted by an enormous wolf.

We didn't leave the ship due to the lack of thing's to visit within walking distance. It had beautiful views though! It appeared that the town didn't get many cruise ships.

We had a sunny day and enjoyed the trip up the mountain to Kroeschel wildlife preserve. It was a little rustic for us and you need to have total mobility to climb the area.

Limited amount of time in port so we explored the town and Fort Stewart by ourselves. Enjoyed the local shops.

Haines is a small town based on the former Steward Army base. Interesting history however, especially if you're into history or a veteran like myself. We had an excursion set up however it was canceled, and we were never informed of the fact.
