Beautiful! Go to Deck 5 and go to the back of the ship - the railing is lower so you can take pictures without having to take photos standing on toes. Also the ship rotates 360 degrees so just stay there and wait for the picture moments to come to you. If you want to see wildlife then you have to go early and stay on Deck 9/10 and go to the front/bow of the ship.

Great views from the ship. We did not do the small boat excursion but the people on our cruise who did gave raved about it!

Because of a medical emergency the night before that caused the ship to return to Juneau, we were delayed by 2 hours and missed our slot to get into the small bay to the glacier. However, the captain got us as close as he could, and very slowly turned the ship around so that everyone could get as good a view as was possible. Tracy Arm was a very beautiful, peaceful waterway.
