Loved that the Captain spent a good amount of time getting us as close as he could so we could get the full impact of the majesty of this huge glacier

We loved this. Our captain set a world record in getting us within less than 200 ft of the glacier. We could see & hear the calving. Wonderful

You cannot get off the ship here. You just visit the area. We went out to the common viewing area and it was very nice, but our best view was from our aft balcony. Dan, our cruise director, was very informative about the glacier.

Just listening to the glacier as it calved was something I can't describe. Captain was very good at rotating the ship so everyone could get a food view and plenty of photos. Also saw some seals.
