A: I did Alaska on the NCL Bliss, we saw a glacier and lots of small icebergs. It was fantastic. Some cruise tours get closer than others. BTW, Bliss is a fantastic ship. You close well.

A: it's really two different things. seeing a glacier from the water is unforgettable. but, the glaciers up the arms (Endicott or Tracy) are sometimes unreachable if there are too many growlers (little icebergs) in the way. the ship will do it's best... , but has to err on the side of caution. The scenery on shore is impressive.Cruising the inside passage has no such issues. and just about all cruises go through it. it's awesome to see all the islands and if you are lucky, wildlife.See More

Q: Does anyone know if you can get any sort of cellphone service while in the glacier? I will need to make a call to a power of attorney while on the cruise and in the glacier.

A: Likely not given it’s not close to a port, but you’ll have service in all the Alaskan ports as they’re serviced by US carriers.

A: I have a suggestion.I'm not sure about Cell service but if you get an internet line, using the wifi from the ship, you can call anywhere using your cell phone. Duo even let's you make face to face calls or regular phone calls over the internet.

A: The only available service will be ship Cellular at Sea. itt is stupid expensive but it is possible. It's considered roaming so you have to make sure that your account has roaming available
