Happy to Cruise the Caribbean with NCL Gem
This was the first cruise since my husband’s surgery 22 months ago resulting in a tracheostomy. We were a little apprehensive about meals. Well our food and beverage manager Vikramraj and his restaurant managers took excellent care of us & we have never enjoyed dining so much and look forward to sailing again with NCL in the future.

Happy to be a "Norwegian" Again
We started cruising in 2012, our first ship was the Norwegian Star. We were hooked and have almost exclusively cruised NCL since. Love the Jewel class ships and sailed out of NYC for a 10 day cruise on the Gem on Jan 22, 2016 beating the record snow storm. It was a bit rough the first 2 days, as we sailed south through the storm, but we have good sea legs and were able to enjoy the ship. Tim Kaminski, an excellent comedian, did have to fill in for the show troup during one of the rough sea evenings. He was great, as well as the NCL troup. Their "World Beat" show the evening of the 9th day was very original and imaginative. Of course, the food was excellent and the option of a la carte dining in the specialty restaurants a welcome option.

Loves excursion to the Volcanoes
No excursion, used to like Charlotte Amalie better when we flew their via Pan Am in the late 60’s up to the early 70’s
No excursion, enjoyed visiting the church and town
Use only for embarkation and disembarkation, NYC resident
No excursion, very nice terminal facility
