since it was brought up, NCL’s newest ship will be called the NCL/Hershey KISS. the ship will be the first with a totally chocolate theme. Including a return to chocolate buffet night. The coffee bar will serve steamed milk with chocolate on a stick to stir in. Kisses on your pillow at night. No, the water slide will not be chocolate, but chocolate fountains will be available at certain times. Among the desserts will be chocolate pancakes with whipped cream.

can’t wait to sail on this one, if it sails out of Virginia

NCL has a new marketing agreement with Hershey Candy. The ship is being renamed, The Almond Joy, and the NCL Pearl is being renamed Mounds.

NO!!!! What's that old saying about "killing the goose etc?"

I notice that all of the listed changes are geared more towards the pampered adult customers and all of the take aways are venues that would be frequented by teens. Change of targeted demographics? More money in it with all the upsales.

Wow. I was on Joy a year ago and she was a lovely fine ship. I wonder what changes they needed to do.Maybe they need to rethink the go-kart at sea thing. It was not overly busy on our cruise but we had only 65% capacity and less than 10 kids.

Reviews still exist if you want to see them.

Yeh its all over the place...I just happened to pick the first article...AND theres 105 cruises listed for it in here starting ASA the refurb is finished next month and it returns to service,,,...a better question is are they on schedule??

Supposedly, the NCL Joy is currently in dry dock undergoing an extensive upgrade.

As an aside, not sure where the dry dock is located, but it is certainly NOT in Mudville.
