We all notice the trend toward larger cruise ships but what will those cruise ships' design be? Here are some photos of prototypes that may never get built but are interesting to view.

True, but I'm hoping this is in my future:
No matter what the ships look like, we’ll be cruising!!!
I've got nothing against the larger ships, but it would be nice if they had them look like ships instead of "Fantasy Island" or skyscrapers-on-a-hull.
About the only one that piqued any interest to me was the first one, even though that looked more like a flying saucer than a ship
Where are the lifeboats?
Interesting. I'll not decide what I think until I see what they really do and how passengers rate them. Personally, I prefer the smaller ships.
After two Fantasy Class cruises ship and a Destiny, do like the smaller ships. At first I wasn't happy on the smaller ship but the size grew on me.

I certainly think it's a possibility that we could get at least one of those designs. I also think it could be possible that we get a 300,000 ton cruise ship someday. Back in the 70's when I was a kid 100,000 ton cruise ships were just a fantasy and now we're at 200,000 tons. 40 years from now cruises could be looking at Harmony of the Seas and call it small. I've learned over the years to "never say never".
Yabba Dabba Doo. That's what that ship says to me. Flailing feet under the water providing propulsion.
OR they can offer the Viking on board experience and charge 99.99 and give you an oar to power the boat for an hour.
Maybe I should suggest this to Carnival.

I don't like any of them.
