I want to challenge you to try at least 3 different cruise lines. Do not miss out on the differences in the Cruise Lines. My brother only wants to go on Princess Cruise Ships. I realize that the familiarity of one ship maybe a point if your dealing with memory issues otherwise try the other lines and different size ships including ages of ships. You will find out there are many other issues to consider. Loyalty within the Cruiselines can become a contentous point as well if your trying a different cruise line. Let me just say the 2 you should strive for is NCL Platnuim 75 days at sea and RCL Diamond 80 days at sea. I have both of these and alot more now and i get the best of both cruise lines whenever i sail on there ships. I find many different opportunities between the Cruiselines within age groups. I suppose the age groups do follow certain cruiselines that cater to your needs. Do try more than one line.

Luvit...you know exactly what you're paying for and why...so its your choice to enjoy your cruises just as you please...good for you!!!

i have been on 30 cruises, Rcl, Ncl and Princess. i have 4 princess and split 50/50 between Rcl and Ncl. Rcl has so huge of ships and fun stuff to do all day all night...i love them....but.....ouch they cost me double to cruise on? you say what...i am single and prefer to cruise by myself without having to bunk up and i do longer cruises like 10 days or more which many friends and family do not have the time. Rcl very seldom offers deals for Single Supplement less than 100%. So you have to pay double the cabin fare not the port charges or gratuities. Ncl though caters to the Single Cruiser more often than the others combined, they have Solo Cabins (do not confuse with inside cabins) for singles that all have there own lounge and mtg area and is behind locked doors that keep the rest of the ship from entering. NCL is reasonable and inexpensive cruise line with pretty good entertainment, food and ship amenities. There is only one place that within 1 minute you can find the lowest Single Supplement Rates for all the Cruise lines. Once you input the date and cruise line your checking for prices the page will populate and on the left side just above the Top Border is a phrase...Single Occupancy...hit this and immediately the page populated will change the last column to Single Supplement and will be listed from 0% to 100% which means you have to pay double. i look for 0% cruises and i cruise for less and more often. i am headed from Orlando to Rome April 7, 2024 for 12 days for $399 inside cabin 0%. it is listed currently at $479 0%. Gratuities and Port Charges are extra. Vacationstogo.com.....see you on the Seas

My first cruise in 2005 was on Norwegian. As we were disembarking, my wife told me two things: Can we do this every year? and I only want to go on Norwegian. Neither of us saw the need to go on vacation and have to stick to a schedule, so the Freestyle appealed to us. So far, I've only been on NCL. Not that I'm married to it, but so far, the service, itineraries, food and amenities have been top notch. I have no reason to switch, but if there's another cruise line that has an appealing itinerary, I may consider it.

Choose the ship that’s right for you, not someone else.. Tell us something about yourself and it will help in choosing the right line for you.
Your age, and travel preferences. Are you looking to party or to relax? Are ports important or are you looking for a ship with all the bells and whistles. Are you travelling with kids? Looking for fun in the sun or a more cultural experience. Europe, the Caribbean or something more exotic?
Now that I have confused you, I’ll tell you about my preferences. My wife and I love European cruising finding the Caribbean islands too much alike. Ports are important to us and have enjoyed cruising with NCL, Royal and Princess. Carnival is a bit too rowdy for us. We aren’t travelling with kids so no Disney either.

No cruise line is right for everyone….choose wisely

Carnival. We live 32 miles from the terminal in Galveston. Save lots of $$$$$$$ on hotels and airfare

Carnival is not my favorite Cruise Line but is certainly better than princess. Princess we gave it four tries and everyone was a bad Cruise.

Celebrity Cruise lines because they have Top Notch service, food, entertainment, and staff

Thank you for your insight..
