i have been on 30 cruises, Rcl, Ncl and Princess. i have 4 princess and split 50/50 between Rcl and Ncl. Rcl has so huge of ships and fun stuff to do all day all night...i love them....but.....ouch they cost me double to cruise on? you say what...i am single and prefer to cruise by myself without having to bunk up and i do longer cruises like 10 days or more which many friends and family do not have the time. Rcl very seldom offers deals for Single Supplement less than 100%. So you have to pay double the cabin fare not the port charges or gratuities. Ncl though caters to the Single Cruiser more often than the others combined, they have Solo Cabins (do not confuse with inside cabins) for singles that all have there own lounge and mtg area and is behind locked doors that keep the rest of the ship from entering. NCL is reasonable and inexpensive cruise line with pretty good entertainment, food and ship amenities. There is only one place that within 1 minute you can find the lowest Single Supplement Rates for all the Cruise lines. Once you input the date and cruise line your checking for prices the page will populate and on the left side just above the Top Border is a phrase...Single Occupancy...hit this and immediately the page populated will change the last column to Single Supplement and will be listed from 0% to 100% which means you have to pay double. i look for 0% cruises and i cruise for less and more often. i am headed from Orlando to Rome April 7, 2024 for 12 days for $399 inside cabin 0%. it is listed currently at $479 0%. Gratuities and Port Charges are extra. Vacationstogo.com.....see you on the Seas
